"coming out for a walk"
Amazing!!!
Those 14 drivers deserve a pay rise for comeing on strike day
Christ I was 1 when this was filmed
Love the way the public thick thet know better when clearly they dont work or know anything about a working procedure they know nothing about, dipstick.!
typical strike thugs: demanding more money while doing the least they can do and whining about having to do it
and that’s a large number of people working at stations, how in the hell can so many be needed at all? they want more money but it looks even more like it’s to keep redundant and unneeded people employed and trying to create issues that aren’t there yet get people upset and trick them into supporting them
Brian is such a great voice for the workers who were on strike, i wonder if he was a Union Representative for the Underground? He would be great at solving disputes and getting workers everything they deserve, pay rises, benefits etc..
Planned strike? What the hell!? This won't work in a million years… Strike needs to be sudden for the authorities to hear anything, if it's planned that means they have time to prepare for it to minimise the loss… I know that it's will be a disaster for London in that case but sometimes anarchy is the only way to attract attention to a problem rather than "oh sorry, we're underpaid so we gonna give ourselves an improvised day out and call it strike even though everybody including you knows about it" stand…
That strike seems unjustified – it seems trivial.
Wow, I didn't know Green park was the UK's biggest station, amazing!

I realise this video is quite old but those blokes deserve a rise in pay for having to wear those uniforms and caps! Bloody hell! How is my British? LOL!
I wonder where these people are now
Imagine moaning about a fire evacuation
6:35 At least they could have started the announcement saying “all passengers must leave the station immediately”
I heard of a strike in Japan where the staff went on strike by refusing to collect fares – seems a better way to handle it without inconveniencing folks who aren't part of the decision-making process.
Spark: Summer 2002 was no easy feat for the people working on the tube.
2020: Hold my beer
People deliberately sounding false alarm, myst be charged under Penal code.
I was 10 years old in 2002
Don’t you just wanna 👊🙋♂️ to some customers?
The underground us a British embarrassment, when it was first opened it was state of the art but it seems old and in bad need if upgrades. How is it these days?
16:25 I gotta say this is a new level of talking fast where I can’t hear him
Anyone who was living to witness the accident in 1987 must have had a heart attack at 6:20, poor people. RIP to any victims 😔
I was still in school when this was filmed I was 11at the time of the holidays on the strike day I was in school having already starting my 2nd year of being year 7 having jumped a year ahead.
No service on all lines…
that would happen again in 2005, but i dont want to mention it
16:57 – lady born in 1919! She’d be 102 now (06/01/21). Incredible if she’s still going. Guess there’s no way of ever finding out.
